Pet N' Dry Microfiber Towel

Great towel for drying off my dog after a bath.

The small is literally the size of a washcloth. Banana/Shiba-snoot for scale.

I had to send my first one of these back as the package was ripped apart, the towel partly fallen out and tumbling in a dusty box (not sure how that got to me in that condition as it was shipped alone; the towel’s box and towel didn’t have some sort of aggression session, I don’t think). The box of the second was also crumbled but not torn (why is it even in a cardboard box with a plastic window—just use a bag if you are bothering with plastic; resealable bags are useful; making me split the plastic and paper to trash part of the packaging and recycle the rest is just a nuisance, especially with a flimsy box-a sleeve would work fine, you know, like the kind fedex etc ship in).

The second affirmed that no, I didn’t get the wrong item… I just got a second towel that is nothing like microfiber and is more akin to super cheap stuffed animal fleece, worn down looking fleece, too.

At least one perk I learned is that it does indeed dry pretty fast compared to my fully cotton ones, so that’s one good thing… the size is also great… the 3*, though, come from both of them shedding already on arrival and a whole lot of green lint coming from the pre-use gentle laundry cycle.

For this high price, honestly, why are we getting towels from China? This is the same cheap material we used in the 1980s to “buff” cars after waxing if we couldn’t afford the really good ones. This… yeah, you can’t tell me this is a $20+ towel. It keeps shedding even just in shaking it out after hanging it to dry without getting stinky… and the fibers came off, even after being laundered, on my pet. I ended up picking bits of damp polyester off her so she wouldn’t be eating the stuff.

I can’t truly recommend it considering an American made towel costs about the same amount and can be natural materials for that cost… or a true microfiber towel is also around that cost but will be marketed toward quickly drying human hair if anyone’s wanting the real thing. They do make body towels that are the same stuff, truly quick drying towels (swim pool towels at nice hotels are often microfiber—again, just trying to guide you to the real thing with key words if you don’t want to deal with what is like Oscar the Grouch if his trash lacked biotin… “hair” falling out, that is.

This pet towel is fantastically absorbent! The color is identical to the picture and the stitches on the edging are perfect. This is a nice quality, super absorbent towel that drys my dogs super quickly after baths and walks in the rain. It drys quickly and washes without losing its shape. Highly recommend for any pet owner.
